I am <reluctantly> attending a Ted Nugent concert at the House of Blues in Southern California next month, and I have absolutely no idea what to wear. My husband and his friend, huge fans of Ted’s in highschool, are dragging along the wives for an evening of rock-n-roll and middle-aged guys who like to talk about hunting. Okay, so the other wife and I are thrilled about the idea. Can you tell? :)

So here’s the thing. I live in Northern California, am your average 45-year-old who typically dresses like a suburban mom, and I have absolutely no idea what to wear to this kind of concert – especially in LA. Should I be in jeans and a t-shirt? All black with lots of silver? Camou? Slacks and a blouse? Sandals or heels?

My hair is blonde, and I wear it in a pin-straight, A-line bob. I’m 5’4" and top-heavy, so a spaghetti-strapped t-shirt is out of the question. (I know people do it all the time, but I don’t care for visible bra straps.)

Help!!

Thanks!

Where Is This Duke Ellington Piece From?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRmzdRz8Th8#t=37m18s

I started the video at 37 minutes and 18 seconds. Take the theme from then to 20 seconds later.

Where is that from? I know that Edward "Duke" Ellington composed it.

I recently started guitar not long ago ( a couple months.) I aint crap, but I aint Jimi Hendrix either. I am looking for a blues song that sounds awesome, is chill, and is not to difficult. The sound I am pretty much into for blues is Mad Season’s "Wake Up" and "Long Gone Day" but they are mostly bass.. So anyone have any suggestions?

Now I know the metal heads believe their music is the true "devil’s music" but I find it more creepier to hear a good blues or folk song about the devil. So help me out, what are some good folk or blues songs that are about the devil?
