fastpianolessons.com – This is part 1 of a 3 part video series where you learn an easy blues piano lesson that you should be able to figure out in about 10-20 minutes! Just rewind the video a couple times. GO to the blog for the other two lessons and to download the handout!

Jack White explains his philosophy about today’s music and plays a short, but awesome piano version of “Sittin’ On Top Of The World”. The clip is from the documentary “It Might Get Loud”. I got a lot of requests for the piano chords of the song. Unfortunately I am not able to transcribe it myself. If anyone can and is willing to share it, message so I can post it here. You will get full credit for your work of course. The chords must cover the whole song (including the mini solo). It’s not hard since it’s a classic blues progression, so a trained ear will find easy to figure it out. I would prefer you to send it in standard notation (with both hands), but any other method is accepted as long as it’s clear:) I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING.

www.fastpianolessons.com The first clip should be the first blues pattern anyone learns because its fairly simple and the pattern gets used over and over in many songs. It also covers 4 variations and how to play some blues notes at the end! Feel free to ask any questions or make suggestions on my blog!

Most of my fun in life came by being able to make music of my own.Dan Treanor goes one step further by making his own instruments and he also explains the makings of the blues.

For history we have to make a comparison between a famous person and a modern day person from at least 2000. I’m not sure who to compare Louis Armstrong to. I was thinking Lady Gaga or Michael Jackson because both have influenced music. Which one should I do, or is there somebody better?
