I already know about the obvious ones (Muddy Waters, B.B. King, etc). Which bands/artists would you recommend that I might not know about?

My dad wants me to download some blues songs to put on his MP3 player and he doesn’t have any specifics to search for. Any ideas on some good old school blues like Bobby Blue Bland and Muddy Waters?
Thanks.

I love blues rock, but I really want to get into the original blues more. I’m talking people like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy. Which artists should I look for, and any recommended and essential albums? Thanks in advanvce.

What demographic or group of people are most moved by classic 1950s era Chicago Blues, made famous by Chess records of Chicago, Illinois.
I’m talking about music from the likes of Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Elmore James, etc.
What kind of people dig this stuff the most?
