This is 1 of 3 “Track 1 + Track 2″ combos that I have uploaded. The album “Every Good Boy Deserves Favour” is 1 of several albums by the Moody Blues in which the first 2 tracks link together (no pause between songs). It is intended to be heard as if the 2 tracks are only one long song. It doesn’t make sense to listen to the first track without hearing the second afterward, so this video is my way of sharing with you the way this music was intended to be heard. The first 7 albums by the Moody Blues all have songs that connect (with the exception of the last song on side 1 and the first song on side 2). Song Details: “Procession” = It’s a journey through time with music, beginning with creation (“DESOLATION! CREATION!”), transitioning to caveman chants (all band members participating in grunts), then some more familiar instruments. “The Story In Your Eyes” = written by lead singer / guitarist Justin Hayward. NOTE: I’ve found that listening to the “The Procession” with headphones is far more interesting… plus it’s easier to pick up sounds during more quiet parts of the song. Although you might jump when it gets loud all of the sudden! The images in this video is the album artwork (outside and inside). The album is a gatefold design (not limited to the 12X12 LP jacket surface) so that when the album is opened the whole picture is revealed.

The first Moody Blues Christmas song was released on a charity CD and was never included on “December”. It has reappeared on a number of compilations under different names since the original release. I particularly love this song because, despite its release in 1992, it has the vintage sound and style of the albums recorded during 1967-72. To view scans of the different CD covers please visit my website: moodybluesattitude.yuku.com This is Day 10 of learning Windows XP movie maker. My goal was to work on more accurate edits by having plenty of slides to choose from and organizing them into sections that made visual sense. I decided to use a visual theme of different kinds of Christmas lights. Like the “On the Road” video, this is incorporates faster edits to set a visual pace. Please provide feedback if you think the edits are too fast! I didn’t think these images were as overwhelming as those in “On the Road”, so I decided to try a quick pace again just to practice editing for rhythm.

For more info – www.eagle-rock.com The Moody Blues were formed in Birmingham in the early sixties and were immediately successful, going to No.1 with their second single Go Now. As the sixties progressed their music evolved into a more lush, psychedelic sound and with the arrival of Justin Hayward and John Lodge the classic line up came together and produced the masterpiece Days Of Future Passed, which contained their classic hit single Nights In White Satin and Tuesday Afternoon. This propelled the band to a new level of success which they have sustained ever since.
