I wanted to get listening to blues music, and i dont know where to start. Can anyone recommend any legendary artists or essential albums i should listen to? thanks
Recently I started listen to the blues on satellite radio at work. I do not have this at home or in my car I was wondering if anyone knew of any blues stations that I could try out in my area.
I live in Riverside but easily get stations from Los Angeles and Orange County so of you know of some there I would be grateful for your help.
Also if you know any basic blues artists or compilation albums that are a must have feel free to recommend such.
I really dig the sick solos I hear. I’m very new to blues music.
I love soul/blues music but it’s just so hard to find… stuff like Aretha Franklin and James Brown. Can someone please point me in the direction of some artists that I might like? Even better would be if you could tell me exactly what it is you like about them. The more the better! Thanks guys! =)
Names of specific albums would be even better. lol
I want to take my boyfriend somewhere with either live jazz or blues music, preferably with good bass, for our anniversary. I can’t find any good places online and do not really know what I am looking for anyways. Please let me know if you know of any places.
