What blues Artists do you truly enjoy listening too?
I’m looking for artists known for their mellow instrumental blues… i’ve got some Ronnie Earl and John Lee Hooker has some great instrumental parts of songs, any other notable blues artists that focus on mellow instrumental, preferably guitar???
I like some Blues as I am just getting into that genre. I like Taj Mahal and Otis Redding. Can anyone recommend some blues artists along those lines who I may like? I dont’ like the real old slow stuff.. just feel good tunes.
Recently I started listen to the blues on satellite radio at work. I do not have this at home or in my car I was wondering if anyone knew of any blues stations that I could try out in my area.
I live in Riverside but easily get stations from Los Angeles and Orange County so of you know of some there I would be grateful for your help.
Also if you know any basic blues artists or compilation albums that are a must have feel free to recommend such.
I really dig the sick solos I hear. I’m very new to blues music.
