YES!
Well, okay, but where’s the diminished chord? The song kind of hinges on that. She had some good ideas here, but taking out the diminished chord wasn’t one of them.
Beautiful
realy love this version very sweet
Oh yes. The Mississippi Delta style blues lives on into another generation. Great thumb action.
She plays with only 2 fingers, as is traditional
you ‘re right : there is a tonal and a sub-dominant tone while the dominant chord is missing. However great hits have been made in the simplicity of lacking one
Her voice kinda gets to me, it’s a bit too much for me personally, but I really like her guitar!
Blues from the soul
traditional Fingerpicking
Where can I get some recordings?
Sunny War you are great!!!
woouhh..that hits me..that´s blues !
O yeah !! I was just thinkin how amazing her playing was and then she started singing …oh what a voice …love it
NoW this is real MuSiC!!!..cult…cult
Sunny reminds me why I play the acoustic!
Fantastic.
When I met this young lady as a “street kid” out in San Fran I knew she was something serious I still can’t find the funky ass song she played for me when I met her. I hope she gets out of this life what she is searchin for keep on pickin dat guitar!!!!!! Peace Ma….. Phucha

I’ve been waiting for you, Sunny. I’ve been listening, and I’ve been waiting for somebody who could take me back to a place I haven’t felt since Stevie Ray died twenty years ago. Where you been? Did you hear it, folks? That’s the sound of someone who has shut out all the noise of the world to hear their own voice. It is their curse and their gift to the rest of us. Did you that voice people? That’s what it sounds like when all the noise of world goes away. Thank you, Sunny.
@6StringsDownForever
Thanks for that. I heard this a few months ago and still can’t get it out of my head. As you said; it’s a gift to the rest of us.
Wow, just found this by accident. next to impossible to create something this astonishingly, so original, with her own unique interpretation of the Doc Watson creation. who could touch such an ‘untouchable’ so well? in most anyone else’s hands….doubt it could be done. she’s a rare gem indeed!
AFUCKINGMAZING!!!!!!!
