Advanced Bb Jazz Blues Rhythm Guitar Lesson
This video is an excerpt from my self-produced instructional DVD that is based on my article that appeared in the November 2005 issue of JUST JAZZ Guitar, “Advanced Bb Blues Rhythm Concepts.” In this video, a different bass note and chord is played on each beat of the Bb Jazz Blues progression. The bass line is completely viable as a stand-alone bass part. All chords are basic shapes that are easy to play and yet have a harmonic content that perfectly supports the bass line. The video focuses on a detailed explanation of each measure. This DVD is 18 minutes long and costs (includes shipping). Payment is PayPal only. The DVD has Scene Selection so you can easily skip to any measure. Also included is a PDF file (sent via email) that contains a written analysis of the arrangement, including the sheet music with chord diagrams, standard notation and TAB notation. Email me at rlemos@calstatela.edu if you would like to purchase or if you have any questions. Thank you.
